ONE WING THAT WORKS BOTH WAYS MORE THAN JUST A HANDLE How can we make the process of manufacturing and installing gates easier, cheaper and quicker? It’s one of the questions our engineers ask themselves at the beginning of developing new gate hardware products. Modularityplays amajor part inour rangeof locks and keeps to simplify life for gate manufacturers and installers. Each wing can be updated with its specific hardware. Our products are easily interchangeable on the lock side, while the same applies for the keep side. But what about a system that doesn’t even need separated wings for the lock or keep side? A solution that allows manufacturers to produce and installers to buy 1 type of wing for either side of the double winged gates? We present to you: UNIWING. As far as insert locks go, we added the EIGHTYLOCK to our existing range of FORTY-, FIFTY and SIXTYLOCK. Their existing Click-It fixation has undergone a slight change, which will require a different profile preparation (see below frame). This new profile preparation does not only ensure a perfect positioning of the lock. More importantly, it is an important step towards our UNIWING solution. The new cut out fits both our insert locks as the new insert keep, SFKU. Start manufacturing 1 type of wing with the new profile preparation and decide which insert lock to combine with the SFKU insert keep afterwards. For the finishing touch, there are aesthetic trimmings to complete the gate: • The SHIELDLINE is a profile of extruded aluminium that fills the space between the two gate wings for increased privacy and can also be applied to the hinge sides. • The UNIWING integrated handle for the keep side. The completion of a gate lock and keep requires a manually operatable accessory. Our gate hardware range includes a section of various modular handles, depending on your preferred lock, use, strength or aesthetic design. 3006PAD This new handle set with rounded corners in anodized aluminum is a decorative alternative of our popular 3006FIX, with the same functionalities. The 3006PAD can be configured as two rotatable handles, two fixed handles, or one of each. 3006HOLD The 3006HOLD is a variation of the 3006PAD and includes one of its handles with rounded corners. The HOLD-part of the set is permanently fixed, while the PAD can be configured as fixed or rotatable. Access control solutions with magnetic locks or electrical keeps have specifical needs when it comes to the handle. These often require a heavy- duty solution, that also aesthetically finishes the gate. With different materials and several mounting possibilities, our 3006BAR range is now available. 3006BAR-I Fixed stainless steel handle with straight or angled mounting brackets.
