We launched the VALENTINO, the first electronic access control solution that doesn’t require an external power supply. This has been coming for quite a while. Thanks to the latest developments in battery technology, there’s finally a wireless solution that meets our strict quality requirements. These batteries are extremely long lasting and continue to operate flawlessly in dire weather conditions. LIFESPAN With merely one set of six batteries, the VALENTINO has a lifespan of 150.000 open and close cycles before the low battery sign lights up. The e-coated lock box neatly conceals the water and vandal proof battery compartment, withstands over thousand hours salt spray testing and is resistant to extreme weather conditions. The perfect fit for anyone looking to add access control to their gates without running electrical wiring. We finally have a wireless electronic solution. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES The VALENTINO has an illuminated code panel on both sides, accepts permanently open codes and supports free exit, pushbar and code-operated handles. After an easy installation there’s an equally easy setting of access codes, up to 100 different ones. A key overrules the codes and grants access to the programming mode. These options enable the VALENTINO to offer solutions to public buildings, without them needing maintenance. UPGRADE YOUR GATE This new solution not only empowers manufacturers to design new gates with an electronic code lock, it also offers anyone the ability to upgrade existing gates with wireless access control. Our standard surface mounted locks, such as the LAKQ, LAKZ and many others, can be found all over the world. They have been securing fences in every industry, from public venues to schools and pools for many years. Due to electronic access control not being a hot topic decades ago, most of these environments were not equipped with electric power supply. For anyone who has been considering to dig out the garden or break open the concrete floor just to lay some cables, the VALENTINO provides a much easier and economic solution. If the gate has a lock opening of at least 214 mm height and 110 mm width, there is enough room to replace the surface mounted mechanical lock by the VALENTINO, our battery powered electronic code lock.
