Locinox extends Voka Sustainable Entrepreneurship Charter
In Bredene, Locinox received the Voka Charter for Sustainable Entrepreneurship (VCDO) for the second year in a row. The certificate is linked to the United Nations Development Goals and recognizes sustainability efforts.
On Thursday 15 June, Locinox, together with 48 other West Flemish companies, received the Voka Charter Sustainable Entrepreneurship (VCDO) 2023 certificate. The certificate was awarded by Voka - Chamber of Commerce West Flanders and POM West Flanders and is a recognition of the sustainability efforts of the laureates. The award ceremony took place in the Staf Versluyscentrum in Bredene.
The VCDO is linked to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations and thus has an international frame of reference.
Since obtaining the first certificate in 2022, Locinox has been working towards nine of the seventeen sustainable development goals over the past twelve months through various initiatives, including;
- The efforts to make the new company site, Locinox 4.0, a sustainable building
- Various initiatives to improve the well-being of employees
- Promoting sustainable mobility in commuting
