Locinox wins the prestigious ICT/Digital Project of the Year award

Waregem, December 13, 2024 - Locinox won the ICT/Digital Project of the Year award in the large projects category. This award, organized by Data News, is granted by a professional jury and recognizes exceptional achievements in ICT and digitalization.

The award stems from the extensive ICT project Locinox implemented during the move to its new headquarters, Locinox 4.0. This project included various innovations, such as:

• The renewal of the warehouse and ERP system;
• The implementation of a new PLM system for more efficient management of technical data;
• The introduction of unique product numbers, which significantly improved operational efficiency.

COMPLEX PROJECT

The project was completed under a tight deadline to enable the commissioning of the new building. This step was necessary due to Locinox's strong growth and the limited space in its previous premises.

This feat is rightly rewarded. The jury was particularly impressed by the complexity of the project, involving many different partners, combined with significant time pressure. The fact that there was no impact on business continuity makes this transformation a success.

Collaboration between departments such as engineering, IT, marketing, logistics, and production played a crucial role in the success of this project. Additionally, the contributions of partners such as 9 Altitudes, Innoptus, Element61, C&W, Ceratec, Viscon, Kardex, OnIT, Dell, and Sertalink were of great importance.
